After a difficult start to life with Scuderia Ferrari, seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton is finally beginning to show signs that he has fully adapted to his new surroundings in Maranello.

 

Hamilton’s blockbuster switch from Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team to Ferrari ahead of the 2025 season was one of the most talked-about moves in modern Formula 1 history. Expectations were enormous, but the early stages of the partnership proved challenging. The British driver struggled to consistently match the pace of the front-runners, while Ferrari also battled technical limitations and communication issues throughout his first campaign with the team.

 

However, the start of the 2026 season has painted a very different picture.

The improved chemistry inside the garage has reportedly helped streamline communication and decision-making during race weekends.

 

The calmer atmosphere has also allowed Hamilton to focus entirely on extracting performance from the car rather than adjusting to internal changes. Ferrari’s confidence in the Briton appears to be growing with every event, while Hamilton himself has looked increasingly relaxed and motivated.

 

His recent podium performances have reminded fans why he remains one of the sport’s most dangerous competitors, even deep into his Formula 1 career. More importantly for Ferrari, Hamilton’s experience is beginning to provide valuable leadership as the team continues its push to return to the top of the championship standings.

 

With momentum now building, Hamilton’s once-questioned Ferrari project is suddenly starting to look like a partnership capable of delivering major success.
