Celtic conclude their training camp in Portugal with an exciting pre-season encounter against Sporting Lisbon at the Estádio Algarve.
The Scottish champions have spent the past week preparing for the upcoming season in the Algarve, following a 1-1 draw against Shelbourne in Dublin in their opening friendly.
This year’s fixture is a rematch of last summer’s meeting at the same venue, when goals from Reo Hatate and Luke McCowan earned Celtic a convincing 2-0 victory over the Portuguese side.
Supporters may also have the opportunity to see new £6 million striker Camilo Duran in Celtic colours for the first time. The Colombian forward missed Monday’s training session due to illness but is hoping to recover in time to feature.
After the match, Celtic will return to Glasgow before continuing their pre-season preparations with a home friendly against Middlesbrough at Celtic Park on Saturday.
