French racing brothers Hugo Mogica and Thibaut Mogica were handed immediate suspensions during the GT4 European Series weekend at Autodromo Nazionale Monza after becoming involved in a confrontation with security personnel.
The incident reportedly escalated into a physical altercation, with pepper spray being deployed during the dispute. Following an investigation, race stewards acted quickly, issuing an official ruling that barred both drivers from taking part in the remainder of the weekend’s competition.
The brothers, who race for CMR, were excluded from the second race at Monza and were also prohibited from entering any restricted or controlled areas around the circuit. The penalties were imposed with immediate effect as officials moved to maintain safety and order at the event.
The decision meant that both drivers’ race weekends came to an abrupt end, with stewards taking a firm stance following the clash involving event security staff.
