Four-time F1 champion Max Verstappen and his No.3 Mercedes-AMG team have hit the track for the 2026 edition of the legendary Nurburgring 24 Hours, marking the Dutchman’s racing debut at the iconic event.
In a weekend away from the Formula 1 calendar, Max Verstappen will still be flying the flag for Red Bull GmbH as he takes the wheel of the Red Bull-branded Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo for Winward Racing at the legendary Nürburgring.
The Dutchman will not tackle the infamous “Green Hell” alone, sharing driving duties throughout the overnight endurance race with:
Jules Gounon
Dani Juncadella
Lucas Auer
Juncadella had the honour of starting the race in the No. 3 car on Saturday from fourth position on the grid, with the event officially getting underway at 3:00pm local time (2:00pm BST / 9:00am ET).
Please note: if you are reading this article before 2:00pm BST on Sunday, the race may still be ongoing and the final classification below will not yet be complete.
Be sure to check back after the chequered flag falls for the full confirmed results and final race times from this year’s Nürburgring 24 Hours.
