With reigning champion Max Verstappen behind the wheel for the test, the team gathered crucial data on the revised design, which is believed to draw inspiration from aerodynamic concepts recently explored by Ferrari. The new components are aimed squarely at addressing the RB22’s most pressing weakness so far this season—its inconsistent balance, which has left drivers struggling to extract performance across varying track conditions.
Red Bull’s 2026 campaign has stumbled out of the gate, managing just 16 points from the opening three races.
