This season, Ipswich Town has surprised everyone in the league by competing for promotion to the Premier League with the best teams in the Championship. This is unexpected given that the Tractor Boys only made it to the second division last year following an incredible season in which they finished second in League One under manager Keiran McKenna. In his first managerial position, the former Manchester United coach has made an impression, pushing Ipswich into a battle for the second automatic promotion spot.Even though he faces competition from Southampton and Leeds United, his team is well-positioned to earn promotion this year, and in August, we might see Ipswich play in the Premier League. At the beginning of the season, this would have been unheard of, but under McKenna, the Tractor Boys have looked good enough to reach the summit.Fans should be satisfied with the value they are receiving from their local team, considering the price they pay for a season ticket at Portman Road.
