Marc McNulty admits Celtic star is the toughest opponent he’s faced in Scottish football
The former striker for Livingston, Hibs, and Dundee United has just joined League Two Spartans in the SPFL. Scottish football player Marc McNulty acknowledges that Celtic custodian Cameron Carter-Vickers is the most formidable opponent he has ever faced. McNulty, 31, a former Scotland international, signed a short-term contract with League Two team Spartans last week, completing an unexpected comeback to the SPFL. After his year-long journey in the USA with Orange County SC ended in December, the striker made the decision to return home. After spending two loan periods at Hibs and Dundee United, McNulty began his career at Livingston and is now in his sixth spell in Scottish football. During his stay north of the border, the former star of Reading, Coventry City, and Sheffield United faced numerous elite defenders, including Dedryck Boyata, Kristoffer Ajer, and Connor Goldson.
