**CCV and Kyogo Return as Celtic Aim for a Three-Point Lead**
*By Michael Shearer – November 23, 2024*
Celtic have announced their lineup for tonight’s clash with Hearts at Tynecastle. With Aberdeen losing to St Mirren and Rangers held to a draw against Dundee United, the Hoops have a golden opportunity to extend their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
Victory would see Celtic move three points clear of Aberdeen and 11 points ahead of Rangers. Having secured a 2-0 win in the reverse fixture at Celtic Park earlier this season, the team will look to replicate that success. However, Tynecastle has proven challenging for the Hoops; last season, they suffered a 2-0 defeat there in March—one of their only losses in the final three months of the campaign.
Neil Critchley’s Hearts come into the match with inconsistent form, recording just two wins in their last six games, including losses to Kilmarnock and Rangers.
Celtic’s starting XI features Kasper Schmeichel in goal, with Alistair Johnston at right-back. Cameron Carter-Vickers returns to partner Auston Trusty in central defense, alongside Greg Taylor at left-back. In midfield, captain Callum McGregor, who has been in prolific away form, is joined by Reo Hatate and Arne Engels.
Up front, Kyogo Furuhashi leads the attack, supported by Nicolas Kühn and Daizen Maeda. Despite their upcoming Champions League fixture against Brugge, Brendan Rodgers has made it clear that the team is fully focused on tonight’s game.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:45 PM, with live coverage on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football.
