Celtic will look to cap off a remarkable week, following their impressive Champions League win over RB Leipzig, when they travel to Ayrshire to face Kilmarnock.
Brendan Rodgers’ side, who secured their place in the Scottish League Cup final last weekend to keep their unbeaten domestic run intact, also strengthened their hopes of advancing in the Champions League with a 3-1 victory over the German Bundesliga side.
A win on Sunday against Derek McInnes’ Kilmarnock would see Celtic stay at the top of the Premiership as they head into the final international break of the year. However, the Hoops will need to be cautious, having lost two of their last three matches at Rugby Park in all competitions.
Kilmarnock, currently in eighth place, have been involved in high-scoring games recently, scoring and conceding in seven of their last eight league fixtures.
