Brentford are interested in signing Celtic winger Nicolas Kuhn as they explore options with strong interest in Bryan Mbeumo. The 24-year-old has been in exceptional form for the Scottish champions this season, continuing his impressive run with a brace in Celtic’s recent Champions League win over RB Leipzig, where he was named UEFA’s Player of the Match.
In the SPFL Premiership, Kuhn has scored three goals and provided five assists, and has contributed a further 11 goal involvements across other competitions—three in the Champions League and eight in the Premier Sports Cup.
Kuhn’s time in Glasgow started slowly after his move from Rapid Wien in early 2024, but he has since found his rhythm, making him an attractive target for Premier League clubs.
Celtic are reportedly reluctant to sell Kuhn, but according to TBR Football, they would consider any offer of at least £25 million—a hefty profit, considering they paid just £3 million to sign him. If Brentford decide to sell Mbeumo next summer for a fee exceeding £50 million, they would likely have the funds to secure Kuhn, which could be disappointing for Celtic fans who have grown fond of the former German U21 international.
