Confirmed: Narcis Pelach Receives Major Double Boost Ahead of Stoke City Clash

Stoke City manager Narcis Pelach has confirmed a positive update ahead of their upcoming fixtures, as two summer signings, Bosun Lawal and Sam Gallagher, are close to making their returns from injury. Pelach shared this news during his pre-match press conference before the Derby County game, highlighting the importance of these players for Stoke’s campaign.

Lawal, who hasn’t yet appeared for Stoke, has been sidelined due to a stress fracture he played through last season while on loan with Fleetwood Town. Gallagher, limited to three appearances so far due to multiple injuries, made an early impact in the Championship with a goal and assist in October.

### Lawal Awaiting Medical Clearance

Pelach stated that Lawal’s return hinges on the results of an upcoming scan, which will determine if he can begin full training.

“He’s a strong, physical player,” Pelach noted. “We need him back, and hopefully, the scan will give us good news.”

### Gallagher Nears Comeback, Eyes Consistency

Gallagher is expected back after the international break and aims to stay injury-free, an area where he’s struggled previously. Stoke will benefit from his return, especially during the festive fixtures. However, maintaining fitness will be crucial to avoid further setbacks.

Stoke invested £1.5 million in Gallagher despite his injury history at Blackburn, and they’re hopeful he can now bring consistency and offensive support to keep the team clear of relegation threats.
