Wolverhampton Wanderers are eyeing a January move for Toulouse FC winger Zakaria Aboukhlal as they look to bolster their attacking options amid a challenging season. Sitting 19th in the Premier League with just two points after nine games, Wolves have also faced injury setbacks to key players, including center-back Yerson Mosquera and forwards Enso González, Saša Kalajdžić, and Hee-chan Hwang.
According to Africa Foot, Wolves have initiated contact to persuade the 24-year-old Morocco international to join on a loan deal with an option to buy, though specific financial terms for the purchase option remain undisclosed. Aboukhlal, who has three goals and one assist in nine games this season, has been a more consistent presence for Toulouse following a limited 2022-23 season due to a knee injury. With his contract at Toulouse running until 2026, Wolves are working quickly to advance negotiations and strengthen their squad for the remainder of the season.
