BBC NEWS: Brighton boss Fabian Hürzeler delivers generous verdict on Wolves due to….

Fabian Hürzeler spoke highly of Wolverhampton Wanderers in his pre-match press conference, praising their potential to earn points in every game they’ve played this season. As Brighton & Hove Albion’s head coach, Hürzeler has closely analyzed Wolves’ performances ahead of their upcoming match. Despite Wolves currently sitting at the bottom of the Premier League table with only one point from 24, Hürzeler is cautious.

“They perform well, and in every game, they’ve had opportunities to win or draw. We won’t take them lightly because they possess quality and defend with strong organization,” Hürzeler said on Thursday.

He highlighted key players like Semedo, Ait-Nouri, and Cunha, noting Lemina’s skill as a ball carrier and Strand Larsen’s effectiveness as a target player. Hürzeler emphasized that underestimating any opponent, especially in the Premier League, is a mistake.

“You have to stay focused for the full 90 minutes, excel in counter-pressing, and continue improving as a team. This will be a significant challenge, and we must prepare with complete focus,” he added.

Brighton, currently fifth in the Premier League with four wins, three draws, and one loss, aims for European qualification. Despite their strong standing, Hürzeler respects Wolves and expects a tough match against Gary O’Neil’s side.

That fighting spirit was evident during the recent Carabao Cup match at the American Express Stadium, where Wolves narrowly lost 3-2 but put in an impressive second-half performance. A repeat of that form could see them challenging Brighton this weekend.
