Report:Enough is Enough Craig Berube must be fired

There has been growing talk in recent months about the future of Craig Berube as head coach of the St. Louis Blues. Berube, who famously led the Blues to their first-ever Stanley Cup title in 2019, was recently let go after the team’s performance began to decline. The Blues were struggling with a 13-14-1 start to the season, including a four-game losing streak, which prompted management to make the decision to fire Berube. General Manager Doug Armstrong admitted it was a tough call, especially given Berube’s contributions to the team’s history, but he felt the team’s lackluster performance necessitated a change in leadership. Drew Bannister, coach of their AHL affiliate, was named interim coach following Berube’s departure.

This move highlights a period of transition for the Blues, as players and management now need to refocus and bring more accountability to their performances moving forward.
