Celtic has officially announced the appointment of Paul Tisdale as the club’s Head of Football Operations, a pivotal new role aimed at enhancing football performance and talent development. With a playing career in the 1990s that included stints at Southampton and Bristol City, Tisdale transitioned to management, notably spending 12 successful years at Exeter City, where he gained a reputation for developing young talent. In recent years, he has advised various clubs on recruitment, analytics, and football operations, bringing a wealth of experience to his new role.
Celtic Chief Executive Michael Nicholson expressed confidence in Tisdale’s appointment, stating, “We are delighted to welcome Paul.
