Latest Update:’I took him out’ – Another injury worry for Brighton gives Fabian Hurzeler selection problem

Brighton & Hove Albion have several injury concerns ahead of their Premier League trip to Newcastle United on October 19. The biggest worry for head coach Fabian Hurzeler is midfielder Carlos Baleba, who was stretchered off while playing for Cameroon in their 4-1 AFCON qualifier win over Kenya. However, the injury may not be as serious as first feared, with Cameroon’s coach Marc Brys suggesting it was a precautionary substitution.

Brighton are already dealing with other injury setbacks, including the absence of key players such as James Milner (hamstring), Matt O’Riley (ankle surgery), Joao Pedro (ankle), Adam Webster (thigh), and Jan Paul van Hecke (groin). On the positive side, Solly March could make his return after a 12-month recovery from an ACL injury, and Simon Adingra (knock) may also be fit. Additionally, Brajan Gruda could be in line for his first start following his summer arrival from Mainz.

Brighton will be hoping to have as many players available as possible for their crucial match against Newcastle as they seek to continue their strong start to the Premier League season.
