Kris Boyd has been informed that the rules have indeed changed after the Rangers legend questioned why Nicolas Kuhn remained on the field following his crowd celebrations.
German winger Kuhn ignited joyous scenes in the away end at Dingwall yesterday when the Celtic player scored a dramatic late winner, securing a comeback victory against Ross County. The 24-year-old jumped into the crowd as fans celebrated the 88th-minute goal, which maintained the Scottish champions’ perfect start to the Premiership season.
However, Rangers icon Boyd was puzzled as to why Kuhn, who was already on a yellow card, wasn’t given a second booking for leaving the field of play. He remarked: “The rules must have changed because I thought he got booked. The rules must have changed…”
