Aberdeen’s Jack MacKenzie, 24, is poised to receive his first Scotland national team call-up, replacing Celtic’s Greg Taylor, for the upcoming Nations League matches against Croatia and Portugal.
MacKenzie, a left-back, will join teammate Nicky Devlin, who received his debut call-up last week. The duo has contributed to Aberdeen’s impressive 13-win streak this season.
Additionally, Kilmarnock’s Robby McCrorie is expected to replace the injured Angus Gunn as goalkeeper. Scotland’s squad, led by Steve Clarke, faces Croatia on Saturday and hosts Portugal, led by Cristiano Ronaldo, at Hampden next Tuesday.
