Adam Idah’s finish, capping off a brilliant Celtic team goal in Perth, has been named the SPFL Goal of the Month. The Irish striker scored Celtic’s sixth of the night, following a clever clipped pass from Luke McCowan, which Alex Valle backheeled into Idah’s path for a clinical finish.
Celtic dominated the match, dismantling St Johnstone, and Gordon Duncan later confirmed the goal’s selection for the monthly award. Initially, the goal was mistakenly ruled offside, cutting short celebrations.
The move showcased the impact of three substitutes linking up, all eager to secure more game time. Idah, in particular, will aim to continue impressing from the bench as he looks to challenge Kyogo for the starting striker position under Brendan Rodgers.
