EXCLUSIVE REPORT: Anderson | ‘We’re a little bit disappointed’

Becky Anderson expressed her satisfaction with the strength and character Wolves Women displayed in their 2-2 draw against Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium on Sunday. While she felt the result was fair, there was some disappointment that Wolves couldn’t capitalize on more of their chances to secure a win.

### On the Performance:
Anderson admitted that Wolves had opportunities to take all three points, saying, *“I think it’s a fair point. We’re a little bit disappointed we didn’t take some of our chances. We’re disappointed because we felt we could’ve made it three.”*

### On Her Late Attempt:
Reflecting on her close chance late in the game, Anderson commented, *“I was surprised with the connection as it was on my left foot. I thought it was going in and I don’t know where the keeper came from, but it was a great save. It was unlucky, on another day it goes in.”*

### On the Team’s Resilience:
Anderson praised the team’s mental toughness, saying, *“We were 1-0 up and we could’ve built on that, then Stoke got back into the game, but I think it shows the strength and character of the girls that we stayed in the game when it was 2-1, and we could’ve won it at the end. It is good for the girls and it’s character building for us.”*

### On Facing Sporting Khalsa Midweek:
Looking ahead to the next challenge, Anderson said, *“We will prepare the same, it’ll be a tough contest but it’s another good opportunity for us to get some points on the board and keep building on the point that we’ve got today.”*

Wolves Women will aim to continue their progress when they face Sporting Khalsa midweek.
