Two key Celtic defenders were reportedly absent from training this morning ahead of their upcoming Premier Sports Cup match against Falkirk.
The Hoops are set to face John McGlynn’s Championship side in the final quarter-final on Sunday, aiming to maintain their impressive early season form, which includes 14 goals in five games without conceding any, and a 5-1 victory over Slovan Bratislava in the Champions League. 
While Celtic will be strong favorites against Falkirk, the second-tier side is unbeaten in the Championship after completing last season’s League One campaign without a loss. Celtic’s challenge could be slightly tougher with two of their regular defenders potentially unavailable.
