“They have some tough away matches, but if you look at Dinamo Zagreb’s game last night, Celtic must be asking themselves, ‘Can we go to Croatia and get a result or even beat them?’. Aside from RB Leipzig, their three home games offer Celtic a strong opportunity to secure wins.”
Boyd took the opportunity to poke fun at Celtic’s recent struggles in advancing to the knockout stages, having not made it past the Champions League group phase in 12 years. He joked, “I think the draw has been favorable for them, and the new format has certainly improved their chances of reaching the knockout rounds, hasn’t it? Celtic fans might actually get to watch their team in Europe after Christmas… something that hasn’t happened for a while.”
