West Ham United registered a 1-1 draw at Fulham on Saturday after a stoppage-time equaliser from substitute Danny Ings.
The Hammers made a disappointing start to the away match and found themselves behind after 24 minutes with Raul Jimenez scoring the opener.
However, they improved their game after the break and Ings came off the bench to fire the leveller in injury-time.
West Ham players were far from convincing in the Craven Cottage encounter and appeared to be very lucky to come away with a point.
The Irons also suffered a big injury scare during the match as Emerson Palmeiri had to be replaced around the hour mark after picking up a thigh problem.
The Sun reporter Jack Rosser now says the 30-year-old has avoided serious injury as the player’s scans have shown nothing too concerning.
Emerson has been a key member of Julen Lopetegui’s first-team this season. He has started all four Premier League fixtures this campaign, averaging 1.5 tackles, 2.8 ball recoveries, 2.0 clearances and 0.5 interceptions per game.
However, the left-back wasn’t good enough against Fulham last weekend. He played for 57 minutes before being forced off, but had only 32 touches and lost possession on eight occasions.
Several other West Ham players also had a poor game at Craven Cottage, but Tomas Soucek was probably the worst performer.
The midfielder completed only 50 percent of his passes, won zero ground duels and made only a single clearance before being replaced by Lucas Paqueta by Lopetegui.
