Calum Scott will referee Sunday’s match between Celtic and Falkirk, marking the first time he has taken charge of a game involving Celtic. Scott, who refereed five Premiership matches last season, recently officiated a match between Kilmarnock and Hibs, as well as Clyde’s clash with Edinburgh City.
Andrew Dallas, a highly experienced official, will oversee VAR duties for the game. Dallas was last involved in a Celtic match during the recent Glasgow Derby, where Kyogo Furuhashi’s goal was disallowed for a marginal offside call.
Celtic enter the match as strong favorites, while Falkirk are on a winning streak in the Championship, having been unbeaten in their League One promotion campaign. Former Celtic player Calvin Miller has been a regular starter for Falkirk, featuring in all of their Championship matches this season.
