LATEST UPDATE:Clement drops Propper & unleashes star in Rangers predicted XI

Glasgow Rangers are preparing to return to Premiership action on Sunday following their 3-0 defeat to Celtic in the Old Firm derby. Manager Philippe Clement is under increasing pressure to deliver positive results, as Rangers’ form has been underwhelming, with just three wins from their first seven league games. Injuries to key players like Ridvan Yilmaz, Danilo, and Rabbi Matondo are compounding the challenge, leaving Clement with limited options in his squad.

However, this also opens the door for new signings and fringe players to step up. Ahead of their match against Dundee United at Tannadice, Clement is expected to make several changes to the starting XI. Jack Butland will remain in goal despite not being at his best so far this season. In defense, captain James Tavernier and John Souttar are likely to start, with Neraysho Kasanwirjo expected to make his first start of the season at center-back. Jefte will continue to deputize at left-back in the absence of Yilmaz.

In midfield, Connor Barron has been a consistent performer since his summer move from Aberdeen and will likely start alongside Mohamed Diomande, who has been effective both offensively and defensively. The attacking midfield trio could feature new signings Vaclav Cerny on the right wing, Nedim Bajrami in the number 10 role, and Oscar Cortes on the left.

Up front, Cyriel Dessers is expected to lead the line. The Nigerian striker has five goals in seven games but will be eager to improve his form following a disappointing display against Celtic.

This predicted XI sees Clement blend established starters with fresh faces, hoping to spark a turnaround for Rangers.
