Lawton’s impressive form at Partick Thistle, including her PFA Scotland SWPL Team of the Year selection and her Scotland U23 call-up, is a promising addition to Celtic. Her regular starting experience under Brian Graham should boost her transition to the defending champions.
Emma Lawton and Morgan Cross have officially joined Celtic’s women’s team, adding depth and talent to Elena Sadiku’s squad. Lawton, coming off an impressive season at Partick Thistle, earned a spot in the PFA Scotland SWPL Team of the Year and a call-up to Scotland’s U23s. Meanwhile, Cross moves to Celtic after a strong campaign with Motherwell, where she scored 10 goals and helped her former club maintain their SWPL status. Both players will be aiming to make an impact as Celtic return to domestic action.
