Premier Sports Cup: Date, kick-off time and TV details confirmed for Falkirk’s quarter-final trip to Celtic

Details have been announced for Falkirk’s Premier Sports Cup quarter-final match against Celtic next month.

The Bairns secured a trip to Parkhead to face the Premiership champions after their 2-0 victory over Hearts last weekend. The match will be broadcast live on Premier Sports 1.

John McGlynn’s team will close out the quarter-final stage of the League Cup by traveling to Celtic Park on Sunday, September 22, with kick-off scheduled for 3pm.

Falkirk’s Chief Executive Officer, Jamie Swinney, has confirmed that the club has requested the maximum away ticket allocation available. This could result in 2,500 Falkirk supporters making the journey to Celtic Park, with the initial allocation set at 1,800.

In other quarter-final fixtures, Motherwell will face Dundee United on Friday night, while Aberdeen will host The Spartans on Saturday evening. Rangers are set to play Dundee at 5:30pm, with that match also being broadcast live, though the venue remains unspecified. The other two matches will be streamed live.
