Breaking News: Luton town boss most craziest decision ever

Luton Town’s manager, Rob Edwards, expressed his frustration following their goalless draw against Portsmouth, particularly regarding the controversial yellow card shown to goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski. Edwards described the decision to caution Kaminski for timewasting as “crazy,” insisting that his team was not attempting to delay the game.

The incident occurred after Kaminski and his teammate Teden Mengi were warned by referee John Busby for taking too long over a goal kick. Despite Mengi being the one standing over the ball, it was Kaminski who received the yellow card. Shortly after, Kaminski was sent off for a second yellow card following a challenge on Portsmouth’s Paddy Lane, which Edwards accepted as a fair decision.

Edwards was notably upset about the first caution, arguing that the team was trying to assess their options and build up play rather than waste time. He questioned the consistency of such decisions, pointing out that other goalkeepers in the Premier League, like those from Brighton or Manchester City, would face similar bookings if this ruling were applied strictly across the board. Despite his anger, Edwards affirmed that his approach to restarts wouldn’t change, emphasizing that the team was not deliberately timewasting.
