On Wednesday, July 3, Rosemary Burns, 69, sadly died away after becoming ill on the Jet2 journey. The plane reported an on-board incident and made an emergency landing in Cork.

Rosemary began feeling ill while on vacation in the Canaries, according to a family-friendly source who spoke to the Daily Record. She then took an earlier flight home.

“Rosemary fell ill while on vacation in Tenerife,” they stated.

“After getting sick, she felt compelled to return home.

“She made the decision to return to Scotland and conclude her vacation.

“She was sick as she boarded the aircraft. The flight was diverted to Cork instead of Glasgow, where it was originally scheduled to land.”
