A traffic collision occurred between a Leeds United footballer and a police car outside the Elland Road stadium. Charlie Cresswell, driving his Land Rover Defender, was involved in the crash at approximately 10:15 BST on Thursday. According to BBC Radio Leeds’ Adam Pope, the incident was described as a “minor collision” as the defender turned into the West Stand car park. The West Yorkshire Police confirmed that a police officer sustained minor injuries, but no one else was hurt in the crash. The police stated that investigations into the incident are ongoing. Meanwhile, Leeds United is scheduled to face Norwich City in the second leg of their Championship play-off semi-final on Thursday night. The first leg ended in a 0-0 draw at Carrow Road on Sunday, with the winner advancing to the play-off final at Wembley on 26 May.
