Celtic Football Club has expressed their condolences for the passing of former player Landry N’Guemo, who tragically died at the age of 38. N’Guemo, a Cameroonian midfielder, a season on loan at the Glasgow club, where he made over 43 appearances and finished as runners-up in the 2010 Scottish Premier League. The club released a statement expressing their shock and sadness at his passing in a road accident in Cameroon. Our thoughts and prayers are with Landry’s family and friends during this difficult time. N’Guemo later transitioned to coaching the under-16s team at French club Nancy after retiring from professional football, having also represented Cameroon in over 40 matches.
