Former Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers Announces Olympics Plans

Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback for the New York Jets, is gearing up for his return to the field after successfully recovering from an Achilles tendon injury last season. While speaking at the Up & Adams program, Rodgers addressed the possibility of reuniting with Davante Adams, his former teammate with whom he shares a strong partnership. Although he dismissed the idea in the near future, Rodgers hinted at the potential of creating a ‘Dream Team’ for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games in Flag Football. Rodgers expressed his admiration for Davante, stating, “I’d love to play with him again. Perhaps at the 2028 Olympics if they allow some of us veterans to compete.

But for now, I wish him all the success in the world.” The quarterback’s remarks regarding the 2028 Olympic Games in LA align with the sentiments of other NFL stars who have expressed interest in participating, despite the differences in rules between Flag Football and traditional football. Many view this as a unique opportunity to showcase their skills on an Olympic stage. Joining the likes of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, Rodgers is among the stars who have voiced their desire to compete in LA 2028, acknowledging that age may be a factor to consider.
