Italian clubs Hellas Verona and Parma have shown interest in a player that Celtic is willing to consider offers for during the current transfer window.
Brendan Rodgers is getting his team ready for the upcoming Scottish season and is exploring the possibility of adding players like Wolves left-back Hugo Bueno, as well as allowing some players to leave.
Since joining Celtic last summer, Swedish defender Gustaf Lagerbielke has struggled to secure playing time, featuring only ten times last season.
Although a loan move to Italy was almost finalized in January, it was blocked by Celtic due to injuries to other defenders. However, they are now open to letting him go this summer.
Various clubs are now eyeing the 24-year-old defender, with Parma and Hellas Verona being the latest additions to the list, as reported by Swedish daily Aftonbladet.
Lagerbielke is not in Brendan Rodgers’ plans, and Celtic is willing to consider offers for him this summer.
In addition to the Italian clubs, Lecce, Genoa, Udinese, and Aberdeen have also shown interest in signing the centre-back from the Scottish champions.
Lagerbielke could have multiple options to choose from in the upcoming weeks.
