Rangers rumours addressed by Four Lads after Ibrox injury scare emerges

Hamza Igamane has not sustained an injury that will keep him out of action for Rangers for four months, according to Four Lads.

Writing on their personal X account (19 July), the news outlet and fan podcast report that they had heard some rumors the summer signing had suffered an injury.

But they quickly put those to bed by sharing that they had asked the club about it and had been told that it was “not true”.

The injury problems that occurred at Ibrox last season were absolutely ridiculous, and Philippe Clement has already moved to try and correct them.

The manager has confirmed that behind-the-scenes appointments were made this summer to improve the medical department [Rangers Review, 15 July], and while there are a couple of knocks in the squad currently they’re nothing serious.

That is something that must continue for the majority of the campaign if Rangers want to be serious about catching Celtic and winning the title back, because nobody can compete at the highest level if they’re scraping the barrel to name a full squad.

Igamane hasn’t even put on the Rangers kit yet so it would be a huge shock and surprise if he were to be injured, especially so seriously, but thankfully it isn’t true.

The 21-year-old Moroccan is going to need all the time he can get in pre-season to adapt and learn so that he can begin making an impact on the first-team as soon as possible.
