Nuno Espirito Santo has provided an update regarding Joe Worrall’s future at Nottingham Forest in light of rumors that he may be moving to Coventry City.
After serving as a loan player for the Turkish powerhouse Besiktas, the center back returned to the Reds and began their first preseason friendly on Saturday against Chesterfield. During the first half of the 3-0 victory, he participated in the game, but notably, he did not wear the captain’s armband.
He has been connected to the Sky Blues and appears likely to leave City Ground this summer. Although CoventryLive is aware that Coventry has spoken with Worrall, wages seem to be a sticking point.
