Aston Villa are set to sign Everton’s Amadou Onana in a surprising transfer deal worth £50 million.

Unai Emery’s side are believed to have secured their ‘key target’ by signing the highly-rated Belgian midfielder Amadou Onana. According to The Athletic, personal terms have been agreed between Villa and the 22-year-old on a long-term contract.

Arsenal were also keen on the midfielder, but it appears that Amadou Onana will choose Unai Emery’s Aston Villa over Mikel Arteta’s Gunners.
