Breaking News:“Doesn’t affect me” – Player not bothered by Brighton treatment, washes over him

Marc Cucurella, a defender for Chelsea, has stated that he is unaffected by the jeers he has heard in Germany while playing for Spain because Brighton and Hove Albion supporters have treated him similarly.

The full-back has been talking to La Vanguardia about the way the German supporters treated him during this summer’s Euro 2024.

The Chelsea player, who was given the starting position in Luis de la Fuente’s squad, has been having a great time at the competition in Germany this summer.

Given that Alex Grimaldo, the competitor, had recently finished an outstanding season with Bayer Leverkusen, that was somewhat of a surprise.

However, Cucurella has performed admirably for his spot in the squad, contributing to what is without a doubt the greatest squad at Euro 2024 this summer.

The locals, who became enraged with the full-back after Germany was eliminated by Spain in the quarterfinals, do not share the full-back’s glowing ratings and abundance of admirers back home.

They were furious that the Chelsea player got away with it after what appeared to be a handball, and they vented their frustration by jeering him during La Roja’s semifinal match against France four days later.

That hasn’t stopped the defender, though, as he maintains he’s used to this kind of treatment having gone through something similar when he left Brighton for Stamford Bridge.

“I was booed even more when I went back to the Brighton pitch with Chelsea,” he remarked.
“I assume many people were whistling through my hands because they had purchased their tickets in advance. However, they are events that occur; I am not impacted by them.In all honesty, I don’t think it’s necessary to go to a field where your team isn’t playing and waste the time whistling instead of enjoying a semi-final. Not speaking for myself, but it sounds like you might be having a great time with this game.
