Rangers are negotiating to bring Connor Barron to Ibrox, according to a recent report from the Daily Record.
The newspaper reported online on June 16 that the Gers have “upped the ante” in their efforts to sign Barron, who will leave Aberdeen as a free agent at the end of the month.
Several clubs, including Hellas Verona, Plymouth, Stoke, Cardiff, and Swansea, have shown interest in the out-of-contract midfielder.
Earlier this week, it was reported that the Gers were not close to finalizing the deal and that discussions about a medical were premature.
However, it now appears that Rangers have made an improved offer for Barron, who is also considering offers from other clubs and will make a decision soon.
