Milan is poised to announce their new manager choice over the weekend.

Milan is expected to finalize their decision on the new manager for the upcoming season over the weekend, as reported by Luca Bianchin in La Gazzetta dello Sport. The Rossoneri CEO Gerry Cardinale had been in discussions with former Spanish National Team head coach Julen Lopetegui, but the deal fell through due to West Ham’s intervention, causing disappointment among Milan fans. Now, Porto’s Sergio Conceicao and Lille’s Paulo Fonseca have emerged as potential candidates for the managerial position. Milan believes that Paulo Fonseca’s ability to work well with players makes him a suitable choice, while Conceicao’s tactical approach is seen as beneficial despite his tendency to be involved in controversies. Fonseca, who also has an offer from Marseille, is yet to make a decision as Lille competes for a Champions League spot this weekend. Once the French league concludes, Milan will receive a response from Fonseca, allowing them to move forward with the appointment.
