Leeds United hopes to recover a crucial edge that prevented them from being promoted automatically.

Glen Kamara is optimistic that Leeds United will take full advantage of their home crowd to defeat Norwich City and go to the Wembley play-off final. Leeds played out a cagey match at Carrow Road that saw little opportunities for either side going into the second leg of the semi-final on Thursday night. Leeds may benefit from the chance to play in front of a full Elland Road crowd, since the Whites have an excellent home record this season despite two recent losses, even though the pressure and emotions are likely to be much higher in the second leg with so much on the line.

While acknowledging that both teams have put all of their hopes on what has essentially become a one-off final, Kamara is adamant that will undoubtedly be the case and believes the Leeds supporters will play a significant role.

He stated to LUFC TV, “Obviously, we wanted to win the game, but we came here trying not to concede a goal. That didn’t happen. With everyone’s help, I’m confident we can succeed at doing that at home. “Aside from a few set pieces, I don’t think we offered them many opportunities in open play overall. I felt we did a respectable job overall. We knew we were quite strong in open play, and I felt our defense was strong. The last game requires us to use all of our eggs, and it’s a two-leg game. It will be a great game because all the fans will be at home.”
