Celtic is not keen on seeing the Rangers substitute take the place of the ‘displeased’ Todd Cantwell.

Philippe Clement’s team will be facing Celtic in an important match that could determine their chances of winning the title. Without a victory against their rivals this season, Celtic is considered the favorite to secure another Premiership crown. However, former Ibrox goalkeeper Cammy Bell believes that starting Tom Lawrence instead of Todd Cantwell and including Dujon Sterling in the lineup could give Rangers a better chance of success. Lawrence showcased his brilliance by scoring a fantastic goal against Kilmarnock, while Cantwell has been struggling to find his form and appears discontented. Bell also emphasized the importance of Sterling’s consistent performances and suggested that Clement has a challenging task of assembling a winning team and formation. On the other hand, former Celtic forward Simon Donnelly acknowledged that Lawrence’s fitness has been a hindrance but recognized his quality and goal-scoring ability. Despite Celtic supporters preferring to see Lawrence on the bench, Donnelly believes that if he can improve his fitness, he could pose a significant threat to the opposition.
