Norwich City tell Celtic how much they will need to pay to buy Adam Idah

The discussion regarding Celtic’s potential purchase of Adam Idah after his loan spell concludes this summer has been a prominent subject of debate among Hoops fans and analysts.

Adam Idah has displayed exceptional goal-scoring abilities for Celtic, with his crucial goals during his loan spell being instrumental in keeping the team competitive in the title race.

Scoring two last-minute penalties in his debut against Hibs immediately won over the Celtic supporters, and his significant goals against Motherwell and Rangers have only strengthened the admiration for the striker among the Hoops fans.

John Hartson has advised Celtic to invest in Idah by making a substantial financial commitment this summer, and it appears that the price for securing the young player permanently has been established as his loan spell nears its end.

Celtic have been informed by Norwich City that they must be prepared to pay a ‘minimum’ of £5m if they wish to secure the services of the 23-year-old striker on a permanent basis.

Considering Idah’s impressive record of seven goals and two assists in fourteen appearances, with most of them coming off the bench, the £5m price tag seems like a reasonable investment in today’s market.

Given Idah’s proven abilities and his status as an established international striker at just 23 years old, acquiring him permanently would be a wise decision for Celtic.

While Brendan Rodgers has expressed his admiration for Idah and his eagerness to work with him, he has indicated that a decision regarding the player’s future will be made at the end of the season, emphasizing the need for patience in the process.
