Matt O’Riley would be a more than worthy winner

Matt deserves his nomination, he would be more than a worthy winner…

Congratulations to Matt O’Riley for being shortlisted for the PFA Scotland Premiership Player of the Year award alongside Hearts striker Lawrence Shankland and the Rangers duo Jack Butland and James Tavernier. Matt has truly earned his nomination with outstanding performances throughout the season. Under the guidance of Brendan Rodgers, the midfielder has shown remarkable improvement, scoring 13 league goals and providing 11 assists from midfield.

His contributions have been vital in our title challenge this season. Despite a slight dip in form due to transfer speculation, particularly from Atletico Madrid, Matt has remained committed and dedicated on the field. While all nominees have had strong seasons, Matt would be a deserving winner if he receives the most votes. Good luck, Matt.
