The two most adored Rangers players have agreed to part ways in principle; announcements are expected

They now seem to be leaving Ibrox in a free transfer to Turkey after failing to sign new contracts.

On Thursday, April 25, a Turkish news outlet stated that formal announcements on the moves of Lundstram and Barisic are expected shortly. Apparently, despite Philippe Clement’s best efforts to retain former Sheffield United midfielder Lundstram because he values his versatility, these decisions have been taken. Should the Rangers allow Barisic and Lundstram to go? Lundstram’s management has stated that Rangers was interested in signing him, but he appears to have decided to go elsewhere.

He has yet to score in his 31 SPFL games this season, despite having assisted four goals. This is not surprising considering that, under Clement, he has played defensive midfield, logging over 2600 minutes for the Light Blues and being a key member of their title challenge.

He has proven to be a great businessman after leaving Sheffield United on a free transfer.

After joining from Croatian league Osijek in 2018, Barasic became a vital member of the team and remained so for six years.

After just 15 starts this season [FotMob], the 31-year-old, who split left back responsibilities with Dujon Sterling, is ready for a change of scenery. It is safe to assume that Clement does not want the two to leave Ibrox, but since they appear to have made up their minds, the Gers can wait for the news.
