Celtic Set Price for Sead Haksabanovic After Challenging Loan at Stoke City

The Montenegrin winger Sead Haksabanovic’s future at Celtic is apparently up for debate, with the club putting up an asking price of approximately 30 million Swedish Krona (£2.2 million).

Haksabanovic, who joined Celtic in 2022 under manager Ange Postecoglou at the time, has had difficulty contributing to his loan stint in the English Championship at Stoke City.

Haksabanovic has made the decision to leave Stoke after a dismal season in which he only managed one goal and two assists in 22 appearances, most of them coming off the bench. He still has more than three years left on his Celtic deal, so he should be back in Glasgow this summer. But, if a good offer comes around, he might not be here for long.

Although Celtic are open to moving Haksabanovic, it’s unclear if any teams would be willing to reach their valuation—especially given his recent form—according to Swedish site Fotboll Direkt. The winger was first recruited by Celtic for £1.7 million, and they hope to recoup some of their investment.
