Scottish Cup Final between Celtic and Rangers to clash with all Manchester FA Cup Final

On May 25, the Old Firm rivals Rangers and Celtic will square off in the Scottish Cup Final, which will begin at 3 p.m. despite the FA Cup Final happening at the same time.

Supporters were worried that the match at Hampden would have been rescheduled because of Manchester United and City’s FA Cup match at Wembley.

For the first time since Rangers won the championship in 2002, the Glasgow clubs will square off in the championship match.

The Scottish Football Association has now officially confirmed that Premier Sports and BBC One Scotland will broadcast the game.

The BBC will also broadcast the Wembley final, in which Manchester United will try to exact revenge on Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, the winners of the trophy the previous year.

The Scottish Cup Final between Celtic and Rangers will take place on May 25 at 3 p.m., according to confirmation from the SFA.

The highlight event of the previous season was rescheduled to begin at 5.30 p.m. in order to avoid conflicting with the FA Cup final in England, which infuriated supporters and the winning teams, Celtic and Inverness Caledonian Thistle. Despite this season’s Hampden showdown at Wembley between Manchester City and Manchester United, the SFA has ruled out a replay.

According to a statement, “Celtic and Rangers will square off in the Scottish Gas Men’s Scottish Cup Final on Saturday, May 25 at 3 p.m., live on BBC One Scotland and Premier Sports.”

“There have been more remarkable moments this season—the competition’s 150th anniversary edition. This past weekend, Rangers defeated Heart of Midlothian on Sunday to guarantee their spot in the championship match after Celtic defeated Aberdeen on penalties in a historic Semi-Final on Saturday. The next day, Sunday, May 26, is the Scottish Gas Women’s Scottish Cup Final.”

This is the first time Celtic and Rangers have faced one other in the Scottish Cup Final since 2002.
