With a minimum of 10 games remaining till the end of the season, City is looking forward to this matchup at John Smith’s Stadium.
The Sky Blues are in the running for both the FA Cup semi-final matchup against Manchester United and a spot in the top six.

The worldwide hiatus…
Some have played international football, while others have taken breaks and travelled while still training.
Before this game, we have trained for a week. We have ten games in thirty-six days, and they’re all severe assaults. The games begin tomorrow and conclude quickly on Monday.
We need to get back on track and attempt to score points in every game as we did in the past.
We want to avoid any negative effects from the cup on the league, so that presents a challenge for both the players and us. However, we are excited to return to league action against Huddersfield.
Up against the Huddersfield Town team…
This will be a really challenging game. They have had the last two weeks under a new management, and during that time they have worked to try to instill some of the manager’s ideas and philosophy in the players, leading them into the final eight games for them.
From now until the end of the season, every team we play will engage in this type of fighting and scrapping.
Everyone is going through a difficult time, so we must accept it, strive to gain as many points as we can, and see if we can place in the top six.
A player is coming back from a mission abroad.
“Everyone is doing OK. We appear to be alright. Yesterday, the international players returned with some respectable performances.
The USA faced up against Jamaica, and because to two goals from Haji, they won the match. In the gold medal game, they defeated Mexico.
After that, Jamaica won the bronze medal—a record result for them, I believe. It was also their first-ever accomplishment.
They’ve had positive, varied experiences that have continued to make them feel good. This positive energy has returned to the camp, where everyone is eager to get going.
Jay Dasilva participated in that and underwent extensive training; he returns today. Regretfully, he and Wales were unable to qualify for the Euros.
The last sprint in…
“We have a minimum of ten games remaining; ideally, there will be more, but we’ll have to wait and see.
The thrill of the championship is that every team we play has something to play for, and there are teams battling for their lives.
For a variety of reasons, there are no simple games; instead, they provide enormous problems that we must anticipate.
Update on Jamie Allen’s fitness
Jamie has returned to the grass and has now stopped. It will take him a little while, but he is OK.
It will take some time for him. He puts in a lot of effort and is in excellent physical condition, but we need to watch out that he doesn’t acquire any further illnesses along the way.
With only ten games remaining, he will be itching to return and participate; he will be incredibly eager to be involved.
An update on Tatsuhiro Sakamoto
The most important thing is that he is no longer in much agony. He has a slightly improved gait.
He will be in at some point, but we won’t know more until after his assessment the following week to determine his current state and the status of his recuperation.
