Gunning-Williams scores in big win for Ipswich at Portman Road

Lenna Gunning-Williams was on the scoresheet for Ipswich Town in their 5-0 victory over Chatham Town as more than 10,000 supporters were in attendance for their first-ever league game at Portman Road

Making her 21^st appearance of the season, the young forward produced a lovely finish to secure Town’s fourth of the afternoon as Natasha Thomas’ backheel laid the ball perfectly to Lenna inside the box and she curled her effort into the top right corner.

Ria Percival also found the back of the net for FA Women’s Championship side Crystal Palace in their 3-0 victory over Watford at Selhurst Park, while Araya Dennis was an unused substitute.

The New Zealand international curled a left-footed effort into the bottom corner from the edge of the box to net the Eagles second of the afternoon after just 11 minutes.
