The 11 best Premiership stars out of contract this summer including Rangers trio and Hearts lynchpin

Ryan Jack

Now 32, Jack has been cursed with injuries throughout his Ibrox career and a parting of ways could now be on the cards this summer. The midfielder has been a terrific servant for the Light Blues and despite his fitness issues, probably won’t be short if Gers decide to let him move on.

Beni Baningime

How Hearts would love to keep the ex-Everton midfielder for at least another year or two. Having missed the best part of 15 months through injury, it’d be a shame for the Jambos to lose one of their top talents for nothing this summer. The 25-year-old has been offered a new deal, but as things stand, Baningime is undecided where his long-term future lies.

Ryan Strain

One of the best full-backs in the league, Strain has been out of action since November after undergoing groin surgery. The Australian is expected to return next month but whether he’ll still be in Paisley next season remains to be seen.

Keanu Baccus

Another Socceroo at the Buddies, Baccus is also entering the final few months of his contract. The 25-year-old has been a rare find since being plucked from Western Sydney Wanderers in 2021 but, like Strain, it’s believed Baccus is keeping his options open.

Alex Gogic

Gogic has been outstanding since joining St Mirren in 2022. The fearless Cypriot is the heartbeat of Stephen Robinson’s team and has been a revelation at centre-back with his no-nonsense defending. Having spent his entire career in Scotland, the 29-year-old may have ambitions of playing in another league.

Connor Barron

Aberdeen kicked out a £500k bid from Swansea City for the midfielder on January transfer deadline day. However, as the weeks progress, it appears increasingly likely that the Scotland Under-21 international sees his future away from Pittodrie.

Yan Dhanda

It’s probably the worst kept secret in Scottish football, but it looks almost certain that Dhanda will become a Hearts player this summer. The Ross County magician is a huge talent and his arrival will be a massive coup for the Jambos, should he indeed join the Tynecastle club.
