Derek Ferguson believes Dujon Sterling has “a lot to like about” him at Rangers and has impressed many supporters.The former Gers player is happy with the influence that the former Chelsea man has made since signing on a free transfer in the summer, calling it a “real frustration” that he is one of the latest crucial players to be sidelined by injury.Sterling, 24, went out with a hamstring injury in the 2-0 Scottish Cup victory over Hibs, but not before winning a penalty that no one but Michael Stewart found dubious.

Ferguson believes the utility man’s departure will not result in a “fortune” for the club.He stated in an exclusive interview: “It’s just a real frustration that he picked up a wee niggling injury last week in the cup game, but oh God, I think me like a lot of Rangers supporters are well impressed with him.”There’s a lot to admire about the kid, so I’m hoping he’ll have a long career with the Rangers.”
